For more than 50 years, one-party Democratic control has defined Minnesota’s direction. The results are undeniable: unprecedented fraud, rising crime, prosecutors who refuse to hold career criminals accountable, the 7th highest tax burden in America, constant tax hikes for pet projects, sanctuary policies that strain housing and resources, and a justice system too often influenced by politics instead of the law.

Voting for the same system over and over while expecting different results is not hope. It is denial.

Vote Red Instead because Republicans will confront the fraud crisis Democrats have allowed to grow out of control. We have watched massive public-assistance and COVID-era fraud drain taxpayer dollars. In one high-profile case, a jury convicted defendants in a million-dollar Somali fraud scheme — only for Judge West to overturn the verdict. That kind of judicial interference tells taxpayers accountability is optional when political connections exist.

Vote Red Instead because Republicans demand real prosecution. Under Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty, too many career criminals cycle through the system with little consequence. At the state level, Attorney General Keith Ellison has failed to aggressively pursue fraud networks connected to parts of his political base, while taking political contributions from those that he is in charge of prosecuting. When top prosecutors look the other way, law-abiding Minnesotans pay the price in higher costs and less safety.

Vote Red Instead because Republicans will end Minnesota’s sanctuary policies. These policies increase demand on limited housing, drive up home prices and rents, and divert resources away from Minnesota taxpayers who follow the rules. Working families should not be forced to subsidize a system that rewards illegal immigration while making legal immigration harder.

Vote Red Instead because Republicans will fight for election integrity and real accountability in government. Minnesota has seen elections decided by razor-thin margins and even a coin flip. Voting fraud has real consequences. We cannot fix Minnesota if we do not know where the gaps are in our budget. We need a full, transparent audit of state spending so taxpayers finally see where their money is going — and where it is being wasted or stolen.

Vote Red Instead because Republicans stand for lower taxes, public safety, common-sense solutions, smaller government, and putting working people first. That means supporting law enforcement, fixing traffic bottlenecks like the Lafayette Bridge, restoring our historic state flag, protecting women’s sports, defending viable children, and ending the empty promises of career politicians.

Democrats have had decades of near-total control. They have delivered higher taxes, weaker prosecution, expanding fraud, strained housing, and a culture that gaslights anyone who questions the party line. Continuing that experiment will only produce more of the same.

Change does not come from hoping the people who created these problems will suddenly solve them. Change comes when voters decide they have had enough and choose a different direction.
